Cat Stories by Diana Secker Tesdell6/28/2023 … But Andrew and I liked to take weekend trips, and after she came to live with us we often took Pink along. Unlike Lucy, the feline the couple previously owned, Pink had been pretty distinguished from the beginning, making her owners feel like it was their privilege to have her with them! So The Islands is full of Pink’s antics which had many laugh out loud moments! Pink is a small gray partial Manx, “a tail-less wonder,” with beautiful stripes below its neck which looked like necklaces. It’s a funny little story about a cat named Pink the narrator adopted with her late husband, Andrew. This collection begins with Alice Adams’ The Islands. So I thought spending time reading Cat Stories would do me good – I miss having fur balls running around the house! I owned cats growing up, although unfortunately, our current apartment policy doesn’t allow pets. A new short story collection to start the new month! □ After rummaging through my Everyman’s Library Pocket Classics Series pile, I picked Cat Stories curated by Diana Secker Tesdell (who also put together Love Stories), as I adore cats.
